FIXATION House Walkthrough
Read the interior before the hunter reads you.
FIXATION takes place in a worn house, not an open-world island. The official media is consistent: wooden floors, hanging lamps, tall windows, a doorway where the obsessed character stands with hands behind her back. This walkthrough is a reading of that space so your first rounds are not a panic tour. It is not a spoiler dump of unpublished puzzle codes. If Sushi Deluxe adds named rooms, we will name them on the updates hub.
Use this with getting started and how to survive. Hunters should read it too; owning a house you cannot describe is how you stay B-tier on the Fixation tier.
The threshold
The most important still is the doorway. Light behind the hunter, dark hall in front, windows on both sides. Survivors peeking that frame are backlit. Hunters standing in it are a poster. Both of you should treat the threshold as a chokepoint:
- Survivors: shoulder-check, do not sprint through the glow
- Hunters: occupy it for a few seconds, then step off so you are not a silhouette target
If your team needs a call name, call it the doorway. Do not invent a cute nickname in the first week. Cute names do not survive public lobbies.
Lamp rooms
Hanging lamps make the interior readable and make you readable. They are good for regrouping and bad for living. Clear a lamp room, then leave. If the hunter is already in the glow, you are late. The survivor tier ranks stacked lamp camping as a throw.
When you rotate, hug the darker edge until you need the information the lamp gives you. Information is a peek, not a lifestyle.
Wooden halls
Footsteps are loud. Halls are the hunter’s favorite math: one entrance, one exit, a knife in the middle. Pairs should not travel a hall in single file hugging each other. Stagger. If the front player calls the hunter, the back player already has a direction to reverse.
Do not reload your camera in a hall. Set sensitivity on controls before the match.
Windows and outside light
Windows tell you which side of the house is “day” versus “lamp.” They are scouting tools. Unless a patch confirms otherwise, do not assume you can jump out of them. Playing for a movie escape is how you die on a sill. Check updates if that changes.
Furniture
Closets, beds, and corners exist to reset a chase, not to store you for the rest of the round. First hide: maybe. Second hide in the same piece: no. The hunter’s how to play as the Fixation page tells them to check the obvious furniture once. Believe that page.
A sample survivor route
This is a teaching route, not a speedrun:
- Leave spawn toward a lamp room only long enough to see teammates.
- Split into the pair routing from the co-op guide.
- Each pair walks a hall, peeks the doorway, and returns if the hunter owns it.
- After any down, the living pair abandons that wing.
- Reset in a different room’s furniture, then move again.
If you complete an interactable during that loop, good. If you die for an interactable, you misread the economy. Time and space beat a progress tick.
A sample hunter route
- Take the doorway for five seconds.
- Clear the nearest closet.
- Patrol one lamp room and one hall.
- If you hear a stack, go there. If you hear nothing, return to the doorway on a timer.
- After a down, repeat from step 1 on the opposite wing.
That is map control. That is how a wish occupies a house.
When new rooms ship, we will add screenshots from public/images/ — local files only, no hotlinked thumbnails. The stills already on this wiki (fixation-house.jpg, fixation-chase.jpg, fixation-keyart.jpg) are the current visual truth.
Walk the house like you live there. The hunter already does.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Are there official room names?
Not published yet. Use doorway, lamp room, and hall until a patch names them.
Can I escape through a window?
Do not assume it. Treat windows as scouting until updates say otherwise.
Should hunters camp the doorway?
For a few seconds as a silhouette threat. Not for the whole round. See how to play as the Fixation.
