FIXATION October Patch Notes
What the mid-October update actually shipped for the 1vAll.
Sushi Deluxe Studios shipped a named patch for FIXATION in mid-October 2026. The group shout on the official Discord confirmed a new map wing, balance tweaks to hunter patrol timing, and a minor adjustment to survivor spawn distances. This article logs what shipped so the rest of the wiki stays honest after the update drops.
What the October patch shipped
The studio description moved again in mid-October. Sushi Deluxe confirmed three changes:
- New east wing — A previously unnamed section of the house is now traversable, with two additional lamp rooms and a connecting hallway. The walkthrough has been updated with the new geometry.
- Hunter patrol timing — The Fixation now cycles between wings on a slightly longer timer, giving survivor stacks more room to complete objectives on the far side of the map.
- Spawn distance adjustment — Survivors spawn further from the central doorway at round start, reducing the number of immediate doorway confrontations.
No new badges, game passes, or promo codes shipped with this patch. The codes table remains honest and empty on the codes hub.
What the new east wing changes
The addition of the east wing splits the house into four readable sections instead of two. This affects both survivor routing and hunter pathing:
- Survivors can now split into four pairs instead of two, reducing the concentration in the original lamp rooms.
- Hunter patrol routes should extend to cover all four sections. The Fixation tier rankings now account for players who cycle all four wings versus those who still patrol only the original layout.
- The hiding spots guide has a new section on the east wing furniture clusters.
Updated game stats
As of mid-October research:
- Visits: approximately 12,400
- Active players: approximately 340
- Rating: approximately 81%
- Favorites: approximately 2,100
These numbers reflect the typical player base six weeks after launch. The 1vAll queue remains active with full public lobbies during peak hours.
How this affects your guides
If you have been reading the September tuning notes as your baseline, update your mental model:
- Doorway confrontations at spawn are less common. Read the revised getting started before your next round.
- Hunter players should review the updated how to play as the Fixation for the extended patrol cycle.
- Survivor players should update their routing with the co-op guide four-pair option.
What did not change
- No VIP servers enabled
- No badges published
- No confirmed promo codes
- No second map — the new wing is an extension of the original house, not a separate environment
How we log the next change
The next patch article will only be created when Sushi Deluxe confirms:
- A named version number or group shout with a specific change
- New badges, passes, or a confirmed code
- A second distinct map or environment
- Movement or role mechanics that stay changed across multiple sessions
A visit milestone alone will not generate a new article. A thumbnail swap alone will not generate a new article. We update this page until it needs to be retired.
After the October patch
The house is larger. The queue is healthy. The wish is still in the doorway. Read the updated walkthrough, then go play the new east wing before the next patch ships.
If you notice a change the group shout did not mention, compare it to this page and the updates hub. We will not silently absorb a tweak into the October article. When Sushi Deluxe confirms something new, it gets its own page.
